Sophie Vaidie lives and works in Burgundy. In her beautiful workshop, lost in nature, she makes objects between utilitarian and decorative, which she works using pinch and modeling techniques. His universe navigates between familiar figures and a whole vocabulary of forms that seems to come from elsewhere. She is constantly looking for new structures and new materials that she experiments with: wood-fired kiln, gleaned clay, ash enamels... Unique pieces or small series, all imbued with sincere poetry.
